El Porsche 981 Cayman está desarrollado sobre una variación de la plataforma que dio vida al Cayman de 2012. Gracias a ella, mantiene el motor en posición central y la tracción al eje posterior. Además, gracias a un peso más reducido, su comportamiento dinámico es más directo.
El diseño es ahora más afilado y ancho. Visto por delante destacan las entradas de aire como seña de identidad del motor turbo y los faros bi-xenón. Visto de lado, el nuevo deportivo se distingue por sus prominenentes aletas y los faldones

The Porsche 981 Boxster is developed on a variation of the platform that gave life to the Boxster of 2012. Thanks to it, it keeps the engine in a central position and the traction to the rear axle. In addition, thanks to a lower weight, its dynamic behaviour is more direct.
The design is now sharper and wider. Seen from the front, the bi-xenon headlights and the air intakes stand out as a hallmark of the turbo engine. Viewed from the side, the new sports car is distinguished by its prominent wings and skirts.
